WOW! You can now buy a secret KGB-bunker in Hungary for only 372,000 EUR!

Change language:
It is near the thermal power station of Inota (Várpalota, Veszprém county) and it costs only 125 million HUF (372 thousand EUR). Its existence was kept secret for decades because the KGB, the Soviet secret service, used it before.
The power plant was built with the help of Czechoslovak engineers between 1950 and 1954 as the first big industrial investment of post-war Hungary. However, in time, it grew old, so without the needed technological development, the ageing of its equipment and working mechanism became inevitable. Since it polluted its environment badly, the government started to dismantle it in 1999. The process was slow; for example, the plant finished its operation only at the end of 2001.
Of course, near the power station the state built blocks of flats, kindergartens, schools, community centres and even a beach heated by the steam of the Inota thermal plant.

Furthermore, here is Hungary’s biggest military object, a shooting range used by the Soviet and later by the American troops. It is 45 km long and 2-15 km wide. But there are some other buildings, as well, which were kept in secret during the Socialist era

Thank-God this period in Hungarian and World history is behind us and this “bunker sale” best used as an example to the youth of the World/Hungarian to demonstrate the darkness of the past and the opportunities that youth have before them in the 21st century to ensure History that enabled such buildings and the purpose of there construction NEVER again is seen on the sacred soil of Hungary.
