Warning: false call-up orders are being sent to Hungarians

Change language:
False call-up orders are being distributed by unknown persons electronically and by post in the name of the Hungarian Defence Forces Command.
False call-up letters
The letters refer to an “emergency military situation that has entered into force,” according to a statement of the Ministry of Defence sent to MTI, according to Index.hu.
They emphasise in the statement that there is no mobilisation in Hungary, no declared state of war, therefore, the Ministry of Defence and the Hungarian Defence Forces refrain from false news and misleading the Hungarian people.
The Ministry of Defence and the Hungarian Defence Forces do not send out such letters of summons signed by Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, the Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces. They would like to reassure the public and ask everyone not to believe the untrue rumours without any basis, as we can read in the article of 444.hu.
They added that there is peace in Hungary, and all the soldiers of the Hungarian Defence Forces are working to preserve it.
The Hungarian Defence Forces has voluntary reserves who have chosen to become reserve soldiers of their own free will. Only these volunteers are notified about certain tasks by the Defence Forces. The Ministry of Defence is taking the necessary legal action against the writers and senders of the false letters.
