Vona: Orbán’s elitists will soon be step away by history

In his Saturday’s press release, Jobbik’s president Gábor Vona responded to Viktor Orbán’s address delivered in Tusnádfürdő, pointing out that Orbán himself was also responsible for Europe’s current state.

“Europe’s current political leadership has failed and we need fundamental changes to restore security in Europe,” Viktor Orbán said in Tusnádfürdő (Băile Tușnad / Kaiserbad), in his address delivered on the closing day of the 27th Bálványos Summer University and Student Camp. He also said that Europe’s leaders, both on the political right and left, have come from the same circles, the same schools and the same elite for 50-60 years, which has always been taken for granted as long as they could guarantee an increasing prosperity for Europe while competing with and replacing each other.

To this statement, the largest opposition party’s leader reacted that ‘Beyond doubt, just as Viktor Orbán mentioned, Europe’s leaders have come from the same circles, the same schools and the same elite. Unfortunately, it applies to Hungary as well, since the parties of the 20th century, i.e. Fidesz and the Socialist Party have grown from the same litter, they are parts of the political elite which has failed in Orbán’s opinion.”
