Tropical Magazine – The fascinating encyclopaedia of Africa is now bilingual!

What comes to your mind when you think of Africa? Colourful nature, tribal dances, starvation? For most of us, Africa is a faraway, stranger fantasy world that is built up by our adventurous reading experiences, frightening news seen in the television and travel advertisements promising worldly paradise. Needless to say, it is much more than that. The Tropical Magazine, which is bilingual from now on, aims to present this colourful and diverse continent from a different approach with the help of the contributors’ own experiences and picturesque stories.

Each edition introduces us to some countries and sights of the especially exciting tropical world through the combination of unique articles and magical photos. You can get a look inside the lives of world-famous people, but the magazine also introduces exemplary and successful careers that are far from the world of celebrities. Sándor Balogh, the founder of the African-Hungarian Union (AHU) and Tropical Magazine encourages us to turn our eyes towards this two-faced continent that he became obsessed with at first sight.
