Winter is coming this week with snow and icy rain!

A cold weather front is reaching Hungary on Tuesday, so everybody should prepare for winter in many parts of the country from Wednesday on.

According to borsonline.hu, this year’s long summer is coming to an end in the following days. By Wednesday, snow, cold and ice will reach many parts of Hungary, so everybody should prepare for winter weather. Considering Hungary’s climate, it might be that autumn will come back in the second half of October with sunny days perfect for trips. However, in the following days, we recommend finding your winter coat, hat and scarf.

Koponyeg.hu, a Hungarian weather news website, wrote a detailed daily forecast for the next few days worth skimming through to avoid any surprises in the mornings.

Monday

The sky will be cloudy in every part of Hungary. In the south, there will be showers, which will be rarer in the northern counties. The clouds will disappear at night, while the North, North-Eastern winds will get stronger. The temperature is expected to be between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius, and it is expected to be colder in the Southern counties.

Tuesday

The sky will be cloudy in the morning everywhere, but it will break in the afternoon. Showers are expected in the Northern and Southwestern parts, and the Northeastern wind will be strong all day. The temperature is expected to be between 11 and 16 °C.
