According to the Hungarian Media Council, Netflix encourages young people to use drugs. The Hungarian Media Council has informed the Dutch authorities.
“The Media Council’s investigation has established that Netflix used an inappropriate age rating for a series showing the use and effects of drugs,” the authority said in a statement.
The Media Council has investigated Netflix’s How to Change Your Mind in response to a viewer complaint. According to the authority’s investigation, the four-part series presented the effects of psychedelics in a way that “may encourage under-18s to try the narcotics featured in the programme”. “The producers go into great detail about the alleged positive effects of the drugs, but mention the dangers only superficially and incompletely,” the statement reads.







Like making under 18s gay by by including LGBTQ information in school curriculums. Perhaps also ban Boy George, George Michael and Elton John from the radio – it may have a profound influence on “weaker minds”. It’s all out there in society, may as well educate people about it as opposed to labelling it “propaganda”
the US is hardly a benchmark – where the minimum legal drinking age is 21. Let’s copy that legal requirement and see how it is received – protecting minors!
