Normafa
This is one of the best and most beautiful hiking places in Budapest, which also has a breath-taking view of our splendid capital city. It is ideal for the whole family as it has spacious playgrounds and great picnic spots, not to mention how it is a huge green zone. What’s more, the “children’s train”, the chair-lift and the Elisabeth look-out tower are very close. You can spend your whole day while relaxing at Normafa!
City Park
The City Park is amazing all year round; however, it is the best during the summer, when there are deck-chairs put out on the green areas. But you can also enjoy your day here in springtime: you can fly a kite from King Hill, feed the ducks at the lake or just go for a walk in the shades of the old trees. You don’t have to worry if the weather goes bad as you can have a coffee in the Városliget Café & Restaurant which has a beautiful view on the Vajdahunyad Castle and the City Park Lake.
