Summer is here and the heat is on. People are fleeing from the heat to the water. If you don’t want to pay for a beach ticket or travel down to the Hungarian sea, Lake Balaton, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll show you where the best free beaches are around Budapest.

Szentendre
The 150-metre-long PostĂ¡s Strand in Szentendre has a sandy beach and sandy bottom water. It is fast deepening, with good water clarity and little shade.
