The beauty of Budapest seen through the eyes of a Scottish musician – VIDEO

Change language:
24.hu reports that Daniel Docherty, a young song-writer and musician from Glasgow arrived to Budapest this summer to perform at Sziget Festival and, like a good artist would do, he combined work with pleasure and shot a music video for his newly released song while also discovering the capital.
The video, Hold Me, released on 25 October, reflects on how he enjoyed the few days spent in Budapest that he also mentions in a Facebook post:
“Watching this video brings me so much joy, as it reminds me of how much fun I had making it!”
In the video, the well-known sights of Budapest show up one after the other, like St. Stephen’s Basilica and Saint Stephen’s Square, along with the Parliament, the Chain Bridge and its tunnel in night-light. The Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development also appears around 1:15 min, where the half-length portraits of the Hungarian pioneers at agriculture can be seen. On its walls, the holes of some of the 1956 bullets are filled in with metal balls to commemorate for the Bloody Thursday. This is what you can also see in the video.
