Ryanair launches Budapest-Marseille direct flight

The official website of the tourism of France has announced that the Irish low-cost airline company Ryanair will launch a direct flight between the Hungarian capital city, Budapest, and the biggest port city in France, Marseille.

Marseille is located on the shores of the Atlantic ocean, characterised by a Mediterranean atmosphere and pulsing life. It is the most significant port city in France and the second largest metropolis in the country.

The Budapest-Marseille line is planned to be commencing in the 2018/19 winter season. The flight will be available twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Tickets can be already booked for the flight, the first one is taking off on the 30th of October 2018. The planes take off from Budapest at 7:05 am on both days, reaching the second biggest French city around 9:15 am.

If one is travelling from Marseille to Budapest, their plane takes off at 9:40 am both on Tuesday and Saturday, landing at the Budapest Airport at 11:50 am.
