President Áder: Hungary ready to deepen partnership with US

Budapest, July 4 (MTI) – Hungary is ready to deepen its partnership with the United States in all areas, President János Áder said in a letter sent to US President Barack Obama on Monday, on the occasion of the July 4 festivities.
Áder sent his best wishes to Obama and the people of the United States of America in the letter published on the Presidential Office website.
The American nation can always rely on Hungary when it comes to defending the two countries’ common values and facing new challenges, he wrote.
Hungarians and Americans are linked by a long history of friendship and the two countries are close allies with a shared interest in further strengthening transatlantic cooperation, Áder’s letter said.
Both counties have much to gain from expanding bilateral trade and intensifying business connections, he said.
