OneRepublic to give concert in Budapest again next year

Next year, the world-famous American pop-rock band OneRepublic is set to perform once again in Hungary’s capital city. They will take to the stage at the Budapest Aréna on 25 June 2026.

The band has already visited Budapest three times, with their most recent concert taking place in the spring of 2022, shortly after COVID restrictions were lifted, also at the Budapest Aréna. Their upcoming visit is part of their European tour, titled From Europe With Love, as announced by the organiser Live Nation.

OneRepublic, comprising lead singer Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keyboardist Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher, has amassed over five billion streams on Spotify alone since forming in 2002. Their hits have dominated radio and streaming charts worldwide, the Hungarian News Agency reported.

Albums, movies, animes

Their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud (2007), sold 20 million copies and included the record-breaking single Apologize, which earned them a Grammy nomination. Subsequent albums have produced chart-toppers such as All the Right Moves, Secrets, Good Life, and the massive hit Counting Stars, which sold 41 million copies.

Their music has featured in numerous films, including the 2022 hit I Ain’t Worried from Top Gun: Maverick, which has been streamed over three billion times since its release. Their latest album, Artificial Paradise (2024), contains popular tracks such as Hurt and Sink or Swim.
