Budapest, May 27 (MTI) – Hungary is facing growing migration pressure on its border with Serbia, the prime minister’s chief domestic security advisor said on Friday.
György Bakondi told a press conference that most migrants who enter the country do so illegally by damaging the border fence.
Human smugglers have also been more active recently, mostly between Macedonia and Serbia. Bakondi said the people smugglers typically charge migrants about 1,000 euros to escort them across the Macedonian-Serbian border.
Hungarian authorities have apprehended 121 people smugglers so far this year, he said.
Bakondi said a total of 17,052 asylum requests have been submitted in Hungary so far this year, 4,102 of them in transit zones. There are currently two transit zone set up on the Serbian-Hungarian border sheltering 230 people. The interior ministry is planning to set up a third one near Asotthalom.

Life sentences for human traffickers and direct flights to Belgium for the invaders. If Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia and Greece do the same it might stop the stupidity coming out of the mouths of the E.U. tyrants.
