Mayor of Budapest Gergely Karácsony to lead Párbeszéd list for 2022 election

Gergely Karácsony, co-leader of opposition Párbeszéd, will lead the party’s national list for next spring’s general election, the party decided at its congress on Saturday.
Karácsony, who is mayor of Budapest, told a subsequent press conference streamed on Facebook that he would only “be leading the party list symbolically” as he has no ambition to serve as a member of parliament.
“If the opposition wins and there is a change of government I will be preparing to work as the mayor of Budapest in alliance with the new cabinet,” he said.
Speaking at the same press conference, Péter Márki-Zay, the opposition alliance’s prime ministerial candidate, said cooperation among opposition parties was free of any tension with their unity becoming stronger day by day.

Behaviour and Political decisions Karacsony – is “throwing” out there, likened to that of the “Prodical Son” of Gurcsany – the Shamed and Failed – voted out of office, through his complete Incompetence – Prime Minister of Hungary and his wife Dobrev.
Karacsony – continues to dig bigger holes for him-self, in a behaviour that is his doing & choice, that will FINISH him – in the Political Landscape of Hungary and certainly being re-elected to the position, that sees his ability, the on-going disasters occuring in City Hall, doing a second term as Lord Mayor of Budapest.
The name – Gurcsany – Hungary must continue to send powerful messages out into the citizens of Hungary, that this individual, the core of his Political Ideas and Philosophy – for the Future of Hungary, would spell disaster and be Perilous for our country – if this individual ever again was elected or voted into a Poitical position, that saw him, being permitted to speak in our House of Parliament- under an appointment, that gave him a Political or Politicans right to speak.
History – never Lies.
The decades of Gurcsany – a face in Politics in Hungary, the “luggage” he has carried, and the negativity of effect he has had for the Future of Hungary – for the Future of Hungary – I say GO.
