This autumn, Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) was held between 16 and 17 October in Bálna. In addition to the spring-summer collections of more than 30 fashion brands, side events from 11 October to 17 October, exciting additional programs, exclusive services and a pop-up store awaited visitors at the event.

Organised by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) is a series of multi-day programmes held twice a year in Budapest. BCEFW is one of the leading fashion events in Central Europe. It provides a platform for young talents, acknowledged Hungarian fashion designers and regional designers to present their work in spectacular fashion shows.

BCEFW also attracts the representatives of the international fashion press, famous influencers and international buyers from all over the world, such as the German Mytheresa, the Italian Tessabit, the Japanese Marubeni Fashion Link or the Russian Fashion Hub. This provides serious sales opportunities for the designers.

The event’s primary goal is to place Budapest, a dominant fashion capital of the region, on the global fashion map.

As a special feature of this year, fashion lovers could watch the catwalk shows live on both TikTok and Facebook, writes Hello Magyar.

In addition to the fashion shows, visitors could also attend the on-site exhibitions of 7 fashion and accessory brands.
