Khalaf Al Habtoor welcomes the new Hungarian Ambassador to the UAE

The Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor yesterday welcomed Hungary’s new Ambassador the UAE, His Excellency Zoltan Jancsi. The Ambassador visited the Al Habtoor Group Chairman to introduce himself. He was accompanied by Balázs Gerstl, Hungary’s First Secretary of Economic Affairs. Also present from the Al Habtoor Group was Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-chairman and CEO; Paul Rayner, Advisor to the Chairman and Sanjeev Agarwala, Director Strategy & Business Development.
HE Jancsi said Hungary is considering the idea of opening a trade office in Dubai to reinforce trade, industry and diplomatic ties between the countries.
In 2012 Al Habtoor acquired the historic 5-star Le Méridien Budapest, a few steps away from the city’s famous River Danube.
Al Habtoor said, “It was a pleasure to meet Ambassador Jancsi today. Hungary is great country with good growth prospects. It is expected to record positive growth this year. This is great news.”
