A Japanese automobile manufacturer plans to invest 15 billion HUF in Hungary in the near future creating two hundred new jobs reported Secretary of State for Economy Levente Magyar to MTI from Tokyo.
The Secretary of State added that Nissin Foods, and another Japanese food company operating in Kecskemét also plan to double its output creating two hundred new jobs.
Diamond Electric also indicated to invest millions of euros in its Eszergom plant in the coming years said the politician.
The Hungarian politician stated that the excellent Hungarian-Japanese bilateral relations can be considered as a success story of the government’s eastern partnership policy. Over the past two years Japanese companies invested one billion Euro creating nearly four thousand jobs; during this period, Hungarian agricultural export increased by seventy percent to the East Asian country.
The Secretary of State visited Foodex agricultural exhibition in Tokyo, where the Hungarian Embassy, the Hungarian National Trading House and the Hungarian National Tourist Office (Magyar Turizmus Zrt.) represented Hungary exhibiting primarily, meat and wine products.
