This is what Hungarians watch most on Netflix

Netflix has been making our lives easier for ten years now, with BBC’s Sherlock as its most popular content worldwide. Hvg.hu reports that you can find out what the favourite series are in each country – in Hungary, it’s an animated series.

Netflix started out as a small company that sold and rented DVDs by mail but eventually created an online platform as well in 2007. The first Netflix production, House of Cards, came in 2013, and they’ve been producing series ever since. This year, Netflix has two movies premiering at Cannes.

High Speed Internet set off on a mission to find out which series were streamed most by the users, where is Netflix the most popular and what are the subscription fees around the world.

You can check out this map containing the favourites of over 91 countries (Netflix is actually available in over 190 countries, but the list regarding the favourite shows only refers to 91 of them). Not surprisingly, Sherlock leads, Friends is second best, but some of the Netflix originals are on the list as well: Narcos in the third, and House of Cards in fourth place, with the New Girl sitcom as fifth.
