The Beeri kibbutz has announced that Ilan Weisz, a father of three who has been missing since 7 October and also holds Hungarian citizenship, was killed by terrorists who invaded the settlement on the same day.
According to the Times of Israel, the 56-year-old man was held as a possible hostage for almost three months after his body was not found by the authorities for a long time. His family had not seen him since that morning after he was alerted as a member of the kibbutz’s emergency unit.
His wife Shiri (53) and youngest daughter Noga (18) were kidnapped by Hamas gunmen. They were released from Gaza after 50 days of captivity in a hostage situation.
Weeks has been informed by Ilan’s brother that the family was on holiday in Hungary in August.
On 7 October, Amir Weis, Ilan’s brother, also of Hungarian origin (but not a citizen), was also killed by terrorists along with his wife while hiding in the safe room of their home.

Hungary should never give a penny to the UN to support palestinians. Hungary should retaliate for this murder.
