Telex writes that Germany has chosen Hungarian-born sibling duo Abor and Tynna to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. The pair, whose real names are Attila and Tünde Bornemisza, secured their spot after winning the national selection competition Wer singt für Deutschland? with their song Baller. The final was a tight race, with Abor and Tynna earning 34.9% of the audience vote, edging out TikTok sensation Lyza, who garnered 31.1%. Their track blends pop, hip-hop, and electronic elements, telling the story of a breakup. A standout moment in their performance saw Tynna smashing her brother’s cello on stage, as suggested by jury president Stefan Raab to enhance the spectacle.
