Hungarian bank-leader Sándor Csányi among the wealthiest people of the world

According to hvg.hu, Sándor Csányi is back on Forbes’ top list of billionaires. In fact, he is the chairman and CEO of OTP Group, one of the biggest financial services firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Based on the list, he is the 1999th richest person in the world with 1.1 billion dollars.

Forbes published its newest list containing the world’s wealthiest people. According to them, there are 2,208 billionaires in the world, and their altogether fortune is worth 9.1 thousand billion dollars. This hard-to-imagine sum is 18% more than it was a year before. This supports the concept that more and

more private capital is accumulating in ever fewer hands.

Compared to the 2017 list there are 259 new names on it. In fact, most of the billionaires are American (585) while the silver medal belongs to the Chinese with 373 names.

According to their calculations, the Hungarian OTP-CEO Sándor Csányi has 1.1 billion HUF. This fortune was enough for the 1999th place. Interestingly,

Csányi was among the wealthiest people in 2016.

However, last year his money was not enough.

According to Forbes, the wealthiest person in the world at present is Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon online marketplace. Based on their estimates, his fortune is 112 billion dollars. This means that he earned 39.2 billion dollars in the last 12 months. In fact, he was in the third place last year.
