How often do Hungarian residents change their places of living?

Quantity theory not only exists in monetary economics but in the real estate market as well. It allows experts to measure how popular Hungarian residential regions are, to follow the money-transactions related to real estate and to follow the movements of residents from one flat to the other.
Portfólió reported that this phenomenon has increased to its double since 2018. Eight Budapest districts and regions of Tatabánya, NyÃregyháza, Komló, Dunaújváros, Várpalota, Pécs, Szeged, Veszprém, GyÅ‘r and Miskolc, showed the highest numbers in the rotations and movements of residents in the recent months. Statistics showed that the desire to move to cheaper counties from the capital and smaller towns has increased rapidly among people.
The most popular county is Fejér, while the most favoured town is Tatabánya. Győr-Moson-Sopron, Baranya, Komárom-Esztergom and Veszprém counties are also among the top ones in Hungary where most of the residents would like to move.
The most famous district in Budapest remains to be the so-called party district (District VII) where one flat got a new owner after the previous owner moved out after an average of twenty-five years. Districts VI and VIII are also among the most searched parts of Budapest for an available flat.Â
