When Emil Gerbeaud moved to Budapest in 1884, he was blown away by the shop found in Gizella Square (now Vörösmarty Square) and bought is from Henrik Kugler. He won a gold medal with his products at the World Exhibition of 1898 and 1900 thus getting acknowledged on behalf of the Hungarian confectionery industry. The confectionery works with the best ingredients and offers unforgettable culinary experiences to its visitors. Városliget Café & Restaurant

If you visit the City Park make sure to come round the Városliget Café & Restaurant. The place guards the romance of Budapest. The café and restaurant can be found on the coast of the City Park Lake with a breath-taking panorama of the lake and the Vajdahunyad Castle.
