Friends of Hungary Foundation to hold world conference

Budapest, May 4 (MTI) – The Friends of Hungary Foundation (Moba) will hold its third world conference in Budapest this weekend, Szilveszter E Vizi, the president of the foundation’s board of trustees, said.
Participants will be met by Hungary’s President János Áder and Speaker of Parliament László Kövér in Parliament on Friday, the first day of the meeting, Vizi, former head of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, told a press conference on Wednesday.
Topics to be covered at the conference include views of Hungary in the foreign press, the state of the Hungarian economy and the foundation activities.
At the event Marek Kuchcinski, the Marshal of the Polish Sejm, will be made an honorary member of the Friends of Hungary Foundation and Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó will present awards to other Moba members.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will address the event and US Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell will give a reception for US participants, Vizi added.
