Flights leaving from Budapest seem to be increasing, as supported by this article about additional Budapest-London flights. According to turizmusonline.hu, Aeroflot, the leading Russian airline, is due to have flights from Budapest every 3 hours, seven days a week. This will mean 10% more available routes as well as 30% more connections.

Data from 2017 revealed that there was an 8.1% increase globally in the interest in air travel, compared to the previous year. In 2018, an increase in the number of passengers can be expected, too, with up to 7%.

In 2017, over 88 million passengers were passing through airports in Moscow, about 40 million of which were at the Sheremetyevo airport.

The changes are supposed to bring about 10% more available routes for passengers and 30% more connections from the Russian capital.

These mostly include Far-East destinations such as India, Thailand, Japan or South Korea. There will be three connections available daily to Beijing, Shanghai, Vietnam or even Tokio.
