The first winter beach to open at Lake Balaton

According to magyarorszagkul.nlcafe.hu, after the opening scheduled for the 15^th of November, the Bath of Szigliget will be the first public beach at Lake Balaton where you can dip in the lake after enjoying the sauna. The New Year’s bathing is a tradition in the village.

The Szigliget Beach found on the northern coast of Lake Balaton received the best qualification in the Kék Hullám (Blue Wave) award system, meaning that it is listed among the top 10 beaches of the lake.

They expanded the irrigation system and laid down a greensward this year. They bought new sunshades, renovated and resettled the playground, and the new service building is under construction.

The two-floored establishment takes the conditions of year-round beach operation to a whole new level.

You can enjoy the saunas, showers, the communal area and the sunbathing terrace on the rooftop all year around.
