The world’s first bar inspired by the British car MINI, MINI BAR BUDAPEST has officially opened in Budapest, and at the same time the newest MINI model is being introduced in Hungary.

The idea of the worldwide unique conception of the bar, located in the heart of the capital, on Szent István square, is related to the owner, Gubcsó Balázs. “Every details of the bar are related to the MINI models, the colors, the shapes, the materials all reflect the elements used by MINI. The bar, as well as MINI, is not appealing because of its size but because of its style and of the impressive and elaborate details of the place. However, the 100 sqm interior and the 60 sqm terrace, facing the Basilica provide good possibilities for excellent atmosphere parties, and the bar’s kitchen prepares culinary surprises, worthy to the MINI brand”, said Gubcsó Balázs, who has great experiences in catering. The leader of MINI BAR BUDAPEST got the “MINI fever” ten years ago for the first time, when he bought a MINI Cooper S model.

“Since then my enthusiasm about this brand has been constantly increasing, and from now on I am also commercially interested in it. The leadership of MINI in Hungary and in Munich were very interested in my idea, and within it they saw the opportunity to treat one of the coolest brands of the world in a good way, from demanding and imaginative entertainment, through good quality design referring to the cars, to the exclusive and really urban locating of the brand.”

“Nightlife is a fundamental part of the MINI, and from now on it is true vice versa, mainly in Budapest. MINI is about parties together with friends, it presents youthfulness regardless of age, premium quality and uniqueness, so it was out of the question that we wouldn’t support a such, worldwide unique initiative. MINI has a huge fan base everywhere in the world, and in Hungary also, and MINI BAR BUDAPEST will be an ideal meeting point for this community”, added Baudouin Denis, executive director of BMW Group Hungary.
