DK likens new cabinet office to Goebbels propaganda ministry

Budapest (MTI) – The leftist opposition Democratic Coalition said on Saturday that the new cabinet office designed to aid the prime minister’s work, will operate as Europe’s second propaganda ministry after the one led by Joseph Goebbels in Nazi Germany.

Szabolcs Kerek-Barczy, a board member of the party, told MTI, the current government was the most corrupt Hungary had ever had, adding that it was unable to govern predictably or sustainably.

This failure is what Prime Minister Viktor Orban now seeks to cover up with lies from the new “propaganda ministry”, he said.

Kerek-Barczy said that duties to be assigned to the new cabinet office head, outgoing Fidesz group leader Antal Rogan, could be best described by the writings of Hitler’s propaganda minister Goebbels establishing how people can be made to “believe” lies by repeating them over and over again.
