Budapest Airport’s tips for the Christmas period

Budapest Airport is helping out all those going on vacation this holiday season. They collected the most important things in order for everyone to have smooth travel experience.

More and more people decide to spend their Christmas and New Year’s in warmer climates, and many others come home this time of year to spend time with their families. Based on predictions, about 50,000 people on average will go through Ferenc Liszt International Airport daily toward the end of the year, according to Blikk.

Because of the increase in traffic, the airport has asked passengers to arrive at the airport two to three hours before take-off. Passenger traffic will peak between 6 AM and 7 AM, and especially many people choose to travel on Mondays and Fridays.

During the holidays, December 23rd, December 27-28th, and December 30th seem to be the busiest days at the airport.
