Budapest Airport voted the best in Europe in this category

27 February 2025. Budapest Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, has been named the best airport in Europe for the second time in two years. Airports Council International, based on direct feedback from passengers, gives this recognition, one of the most prestigious awards in the airport industry.

Budapest Airport honoured

According to the official site, based on passengers’ experience, Ferenc Liszt International Airport, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of its opening this year, has been voted the best airport in Europe in the category of airports with 15-25 million passengers for the second time after 2022. Airports Council International (ACI) bestowed the award on Budapest Airport.

“Congratulations to the entire team at Ferenc Liszt International Airport for your remarkable achievement in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards!” said Justin Erbacci, director general of ACI World, commenting on the award. He added: “Your airport is one of the best airports globally for customer experience, as chosen by passengers. Keep raising standards!”

“We are honoured and proud that passengers have once again voted Budapest Airport the best in Europe. This is the most important confirmation we can get, as passengers give us real-time feedback on what we are working for every day,” said Francois Berisot, the CEO of Budapest Airport.
