Belgian woman mysteriously died at popular festival in Hungary

She left her friends, and not far from their tent, the 34-year-old Belgian woman committed suicide. Her body was found by police officers last Sunday. The participants of the Ozora Festival are shocked.

According to Blikk, a Hungarian tabloid, police received news about the woman’s disappearance on 6 August. Her body was found on a bushy remote area in Igar-Dádpuszta. The local police department issued that the woman was not a victim of murder but took her own life.

Gossip has it that the lady was overdosed, but Blikk learned she killed herself. According to an informant of the Hungarian tabloid, the woman arrived at the festival with a group of 4-5 people. They shared one tent. Based on the information of Blikk, she left the tent on Saturday late at night and hanged herself on a tree. Oddly, her friends didn’t seem particularly shocked by the tragic news. “They didn’t burst into tears or show much emotion”, recalled informant to Blikk. After police interrogation, they left the country. Allegedly, they are already back in Belgium.

Police told the press that the deceased was a 34-year-old Belgian citizen. They added that nothing indicated murder on the scene. Therefore, authorities launched an administrative procedure instead of a crime investigation.
