Arctic air mass brings winter cold to Hungary with snowfall and low temperatures – VIDEOS, MAPS

An arctic air mass conquered the Carpathian Basin yesterday afternoon, evening and this morning. The result is that the average temperature dropped by more than 10 degrees Celsius in most places. Furthermore, in the northeastern regions of the country, snowfall has started, which is quite uncommon in April. Here is when spring will return to Hungary.
Extreme cold broke into Hungary in the last 24 hours, bringing frozen mornings and snowfall. Here is a temperature map of the arrival of the Arctic air mass and a video of how it crossed the High Tatras.

According to Időkép, this morning saw snowfall in the northeastern regions of Hungary. For example, here is a video of the Fortress of Füzér covered in white. The thermometers there showed 16 degrees Celsius lower than yesterday.
Furthermore, according to Időkép, we should expect dust storms in northeastern Hungary and Transdanubia with 70-80 km/h wind speed.
