Gyöngyös – 120 new employees will take part in the OKJ tyre manufacturer certified training. Technicians who signed study contract with Apollo Tyres Hungary in April, will start their theoretical training in July in Gyöngyös, after finishing their academic year in secondary school. This training will be followed by a 10 week practical training in Apollo Tyres’ Indian and Dutch facilities.

The technicians of Apollo Tyres’ Hungary facility will receive a specialised training as part of the OKJ tyre manufacturer certification. The training is aimed at enabling the technicians to start the production lines at the Gyöngyöshalász facility. The employees of Apollo will have the opportunity to start their careers in one of the most modern factories in Europe, equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology.

Commenting on the training, Tibor Bányai, Head of Human Resources, Apollo Tyres Hungary, said: “We are pleased that Apollo Tyres OKJ training will start its third round, and 120 new technicians will be joining the Apollo family. For us, it is very important that future employees will be aware of all of the points of the factory and for this the Hungarian and the foreign trainings are essential. Of course we pay attention to the fact that our new colleagues know the Apollo processes in theory and in practice. ”
