Angelina Jolie is in Budapest, will remain for long: here is where you can meet her

Angelina Jolie is shooting a movie about the last years of the world-known opera singer, Maria Callas, in Budapest. She will remain here for months, and Blikk, a leading Hungarian tabloid, collected where you might meet her.

The Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider, Mr&Mrs Smith, Maleficent, Salt) is in Budapest, Hungary’s beautiful capital. She is to start shooting of her latest movie about the last years of Maria Callas, an opera singer of Greek origins, next week.

She will work with Hungarian staff and a world-famous Hungarian opera expert helps her form Callas. Blikk’s informant added the celebrity would work in a big Hungarian film studio (e.g. it can be the Korda Filmpark, we wrote about that HERE). That is because Callas spent the final weeks of her life in a Paris apartment, meeting only her maid and servant. Thus, many believe she did not die of a heart attack but committed suicide due to her loneliness. Therefore, only a few external scenes needed to be shot, which they did in Paris and Greece weeks before.
