Increase in air travel between Doha and Budapest

According to turizmusonline.hu, Qatar Airways has announced that starting with 2 August, there will be four more flights going to Budapest every week. This is going to increase the weekly number of flights from 14 to 18 in the summer. Moreover, Qatar Airways will be able to cater to the increased interest in flying to Budapest as well as to the increased air travel through Doha towards Asia.

Grisha Jenkov, the Country Manager Eastern Europe – Center, revealed that “We are very happy that we can increase by four the number of flights going to Budapest from Doha.

This decision, along with our plans to improve our routes, further increases our capacity and allows us to offer our customers, both travelling on business and on vacation, connections to several Asian cities like Chiang Mai, Krabi, Pattaya, not to mention destinations like Canberra, Zanzibar or Dar-es-Salam.

Another piece of good news is that the second flight of the day starting on 1 August is going to be fulfilled by the wide-body A330 aircraft.

As of now, the daily two flights are fulfilled by A320 and A321 aircrafts, the latter of which will be replaced by the A330 type come August.
