Due to the geopolitical situation, Air Canada will not resume its flights between Toronto and Budapest this summer season.

In early February, the company announced that its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft would have flown to the Hungarian capital from Canada 3 times a week between May and October 2022, offering almost 1,000 seats a week in one direction during the high season, writes airportal.hu.

Planned return after 2019 halt

According to Air Canada, passengers who have already bought their tickets for the Toronto-Budapest route will be transferred to other partner airlines.
