Aggressive fight on Budapest’s busiest tram line – VIDEO

Change language:

Tram 4-6 is one of the busiest lines of Budapest’s public transport, always full of people. Needless to say, atrocities often occur. The latest fight caught on camera happened on Wednesday and involved four people and a gas spray.

First, ripost took notice of a video circulating on Facebook. It was easy to recognise that the incident took place on the 4-6 tram. The original footage was recorded by Vanda Schumacher, 24 reports. Vanda shared the video on Instagram, and it quickly circulated the internet.

24 reached out to Vanda to share what had happened on the tram from her point of view. As can be seen in the video, the young woman wearing a pink hoodie got into an argument with the man in black. Things must have escalated quickly because when the camera was recording, the woman was already yelling loudly.

When asked why she recorded the incident, Vanda said that it was because people are less likely to commit crimes when filmed. She thought it would also come in handy to have evidence of what really happened.

After the yelling, the man in black became furious and started advancing towards the girl in pink. The man was closely followed by (presumably) his girlfriend who was wearing white. The girl in pink managed to kick the girl in white away from herself.

  1. I think the writer meant to write ‘prosecuted’ rather than ‘persecuted’. It is illegal to persecute someone in Hungary.

  2. All too often it is woman who starts a fight and then a man who gets the blame. Women often incite violence and should be made to face the consequences.
