Hungarian repatriation flights continue from Middle East

While the crisis in the Middle East “isn’t nearer resolution”, and Iran’s attacks on Arab countries remain active and intense, Hungary continues to operate repatriation flights in an effort to bring home every Hungarian stranded in the Middle East, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said on Facebook on Monday.
Péter Szijjártó said another flight left Riyadh late on Sunday, bringing 76 Hungarians from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait back to Budapest.
The minister added that two flights were scheduled to leave from Muscat on Monday, with Hungarians stranded in Oman on board. Altogether 180 Hungarians will be helped to leave the region due to the recent crisis, including 157 who have been unable to leave Dubai due to restricted access to flight services. They will be taken to Oman by bus and leave for Budapest together with the 23 others currently waiting in Oman, Szijjártó said.
