Time Out Market Budapest opened its doors less than four months ago in the iconic Corvin Palace on Blaha Lujza Square, and it has already become one of the city’s most popular gastronomic and cultural meeting points. As the first Time Out Market to debut in the Central and Eastern European region, the Budapest location brings together gastronomy, drink culture, music, and creative experiences under one roof: eleven kitchens, three bars, five event spaces, and around 540 seats welcome visitors across nearly 2,500 square metres.

The Market’s local experts carefully curate every programme to ensure accessible, high-quality experiences for everyone—whether they come for food, culture, or music. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of flavours and a buzzing atmosphere at communal tables, while Time Out Market Budapest offers a year-round lineup of concerts, DJ sets, wine tastings, themed events, and family-friendly programmes—among which the following highlights showcase February’s offerings.

MONTHLY SPECIAL EVENTS THIS FEBRUARY

January 31 – February 7, 2026: Furmint Február

As the final days of the Mangalica Festival bring rich flavours to the Market, exciting Furmint pairings arrive alongside the dishes from 31 January, marking the start of Furmint Week. Visitors can enjoy special dishes paired with wines worthy of the occasion.

All Furmint wines will be available by the glass at the Wine Bar, allowing guests to explore the full spectrum of this variety—from fresh, mineral-driven expressions to complex, layered styles. The week’s highlight falls on 31 January, when winemakers themselves will visit the Market to present their wines in person. On 1 February, the Market will officially celebrate Furmint Day, honouring Hungarian terroir and the craft of winemaking.

Chinese New Year – celebrated by over two billion people worldwide – is one of the world’s most significant cultural festivals. The colour red symbolises luck and prosperity, while festive dishes traditionally represent wealth, long life, and good fortune. The Year of the Horse stands for energy, momentum, and new beginnings, perfectly aligning with Time Out Market’s diverse, experience-driven culinary world.

19 February 2026: Art&Sip by Time Out Market x Apollo Gallery

Time Out Market Budapest has recently launched a new cultural programme series called Art&Sip, held approximately every six weeks. The first edition took place at the end of January. The aim of the series is to periodically highlight the work of the currently exhibiting artist from the Apollo Gallery, located in Corvin Palace.

Carefully selected artworks are installed in The Vault room at the Market, giving visitors an intimate look at the artist’s world. The exhibiting artist is present at each Art&Sip event, giving guests the chance to meet them in person. Each edition also features a limited, event-exclusive cocktail available only at the Spirit Bar, drawing visual and conceptual inspiration from the exhibiting artist’s style.

Daniella Tóth, Managing Director of Apollo Gallery, summarised the initiative: “Through the Art&Sip series, our goal is to select artworks together with our artists and curator that extend the experience of the Apollo Gallery’s current exhibitions into the Time Out Market. The selection installed in The Vault offers visitors a preview, and if the pieces spark their curiosity, they can further explore the exhibition at our gallery located in Corvin Palace. On 3 February 2026, we open our new exhibition titled ‘What We Preserve, What We Pass On’, and throughout the month, guests at the Market will also be able to see a selection of works. The next Art&Sip event will take place on 19 February at 6pm.”
