Gordon Ramsay to open his first Central European restaurant in Budapest!

The world-renowned British chef, Gordon Ramsay, is bringing his culinary expertise to Hungary with the opening of his first Central European restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, in Budapest’s Dorothea Hotel.
According to reports from Portfolio, the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, the first in the Central European region, is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026 as part of a strategic partnership between the Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, an Autograph Collection property, and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global.
The celebrity chef known worldwide
Ramsay’s name is familiar not only in the fine dining world. Through shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, and MasterChef, he has become one of the most famous chefs in television history. However, his career began long before the cameras: the Scottish-born chef trained in classical French kitchens and became one of London’s youngest Michelin-starred restaurant managers in just a few years.
“It is an honor for us to host the first Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Central Europe. This partnership allows us to bring one of the world’s most renowned culinary experiences to Budapest. We look forward to welcoming both international travelers and local guests at the inspiring Dorothea Hotel, where they will soon be able to taste Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes,” said Dorothea Hotel director William Boulton-Smith.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants now operates over 50 locations worldwide, from the three-Michelin-star London flagship to Bar & Grill venues in Dubai and Las Vegas. Budapest will join this portfolio and, as the first Central European location, is expected to receive special attention.
