Dutch man opens special designer shop in Hungary

After months, the lockdowns are over. Unfortunately some shops had to close down in the past months. At the same time there are entrepeneurs finding this the right time to start a new adventure. Paul Frisch is one of them. Not just the opening of his shop in the current time deserves attention but also the location, the story behind the shop and its owner.

The Hello Boglari Bolt shop is located in Vértesboglár, a small and peaceful village 50 kms west of Budapest.

Since 2014, Paul spends his time between Amsterdam, Vértesboglár and Budapest. So how does someone born in Brussels, grew up in Amsterdam, lived in Budapest ends up in a small village with 650 inhabitants?

Paul says his paternal relatives had a store for decades in Mátészalka. Nowadays their store would be called a vegyesbolt. 76 years ago his grandfather was forced to close his store. That’s why he is proud to be able to open up a shop under the same family name again in Hungary.
