Rory McIlroy – 9/1
Still chasing that elusive title, Rory McIlroy is the joint favourite in the Masters odds to finally get his hands on a green jacket in 2024.
McIlroy is entering his 10th year without a major, and what better way to end that drought than by completing a lucrative career grand slam with a Masters victory?
That’s easier said than done, of course. But McIlroy has started the season with consistency, making the cut in all three of his tournaments at the time of writing and carding two top-25 finishes.
Scottie Scheffler – 9/1
The pressure of returning to Augusta National 12 months after you win the Masters should not be discounted.
The defending champion has to host a formal dinner party before carrying the burden of trying to retain his title.
Nonetheless, World No.1 Scottie Scheffler made a good account of himself last year — finishing tied for 10th on four under par.
The American knocked on the door of winning a second major when T2 at the PGA Championship and third at the US Open, and he has started 2024 well with four top-10 finishes and winning the Players Championship.
