Terrible accident at Hungarian National Theater, actors in serious condition – UPDATE

A serious accident happened during a performance of Romeo and Juliet on Friday at the National Theater. The condition of the two actors is serious but stable.
“Due to an accident, our production of Romeo and Juliet was interrupted today. More information will be given later.” This post was published by the National Theatre on Friday, and on Saturday, also on the institution’s social media page, the general manager, Attila Vidnyánszky, wrote that the second act was interrupted due to an accident involving Júlia Szász and Lajos Ottó Horváth.
The paramedics who arrived shortly after the incident treated the two artists on the spot and took them to hospital. Under the circumstances, they are doing well. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation. Several media outlets have reported that the artists have undergone surgery and their condition is serious but stable and not life-threatening.
According to Blikk, a Hungarian tabloid, before the accident, Lajos Ottó Horváth was holding Júlia Szász on a small balcony, and the actor became dizzy, both fell over the railing and then fell several meters onto the stage’s boards. They suffered injuries and fractures so severe that their recovery could take several months.
