New, useful feature came in Hungary’s unique price monitoring system

A new feature came to Hungary’s unique price monitoring software, which is available for everybody and aims to reduce the food price inflation soaring in the last few months.
Hungary faced incredibly high food price inflation after the spring of 2022. There were multiple reasons behind that, but the government introduced a brand-new online price monitoring system on 1 July to deal with it. HERE you may read our article on how it works. Of course, the software went on air just after food price rise trends changed from increasing to decreasing. That meant food prices continued to grow but at a slower pace. The government attributes that trend change to its measures, while experts believe the main factor was global trends.
Anyway, Hungary’s unique price monitoring app received a new function yesterday. Now, you can use the shopping list function. Thanks to that, you can put your favourite products into your virtual basket and compare their prices day after day. That it easier for people to buy their favourites for the best prices, index.hu wrote.
