Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov is a Russian entrepreneur, investor, and founder of JSFC System (also known as AFK Sistema).

Childhood, family, and education of Vladimir Yevtushenkov

Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov was born on September 25, 1948, in the small village of Kamenshchina, near Smolensk. His parents worked at the local dairy. His father headed this enterprise, and his mother was a milkmaid.

From an early age, Vladimir Yevtushenkov showed an interest in the natural sciences. He was fond of chemistry and conducted various experiments and experiments at home. Vladimir Yevtushenkov dreamed of becoming a scientist and making scientific discoveries in his laboratory.

After graduating from school, Vladimir Yevtushenkov went to serve in the army. In 1967 he decided to enroll in D Mendeleev Univesity.

Five years later, Vladimir Yevtushenkov defended his diploma in engineering. In 1980 he graduated from MSU, one of the most prestigious universities of the former USSR and modern Russia.

“The Sverdlov plant in Dzerzhinsk was Vladimir Petrovich’s first place of work. At one of the USSR’s largest research and production enterprises, he worked his way up from a simple foreman to the head of the site. Here he worked from 1973 until 1975.

Then Yevtushenkov accepted the offer to head one of the shops of Karacharovsky Plastics Plant (today – Scientific and Production Association “Polimerbyt”). He moved to Moscow.
