Orbán’s victory is even greater with the mailed votes – Fidesz to have 3 million votes soon

The National Election Office has completed the verification of the statements attached to votes sent by mail to prove the voter’s identity, government website www.valasztas.hu said on Friday.
A total of 69.74 per cent of people with dual Hungarian citizenship in other countries who had registered for the April 3 election cast their ballot this way, the portal said. The NVI received 318,153 votes, 279,797 through Hungary’s embassies and consulates, 36,784 by regular post, and 1,572 through election offices in Hungary.
According to the portal, 268,766 envelopes contained a valid statement, while it was either invalid or missing in the rest of the cases.
The NVI is in the process of counting the votes and is expected to complete that task by Saturday,
MTI reported.
Based on valasztas.hu, the rate of counted votes stands at 99.18%. Orbán’s Fidesz-KDNP has 2,973,373 votes. No Hungarian party has ever received more in any of the country’s democratic elections. This number is expected to go up with the addition of the mailed votes of Hungarians living abroad. Most of these citizens choose Fidesz because they believe only Orbán will represent their interests. In 2018, Fidesz’s support was above 96 pc in this group. As we reported before, Fidesz already won one more seat in the parliament with the mailed votes on Thursday.
Should those figures ever be independently analysed pretty sure they won’t quite add up. Fortunately for Fidesz we’re all so gullible we believe everything they tell us.
