The Sirha International Gastronomy Exhibition has opened in Budapest

The Sirha Budapest International Food and HoReCa trade fair opened on Tuesday at Hungexpo, reports hellomagyar.hu.
The European Final of Bocuse d’or is also happening now
The Sirha trade fair will host the European final of the Bocuse d’Or as well as the catering chef’s competition.
In his greeting, Gábor Ganczer, CEO of Hungexpo, said that the hotel, restaurant and café industry, HoReCa, used the period of the crisis to develop its offerings in order to exceed expectations when businesses will reopen.
“At the Sirha food trade fair, three hundred exhibitors from 16 countries will present their products, services and developments in three pavilions until 24 March in three pavilions. Sirha Budapest has clearly become the largest trade fair in the region today”, emphasized Gábor Ganczer.
The revamped Hungexpo conference center
The CEO of Hungexpo also mentioned that they used the pandemic period to redesign Hungexpo, one of the first international competitions of the now completely renovated Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center.
Among the upcoming events of Sirha, Ganczer highlighted the European final of the Bocuse d’Or cooking competition, which will be held in the Hungarian capital for the second time after 2016;
the Sirha Dessert Competition, the Catering Competition, confectionery and bakery demonstrations, professional conferences, and the very first Hungarian Wine Summit which will showcase the works of 100 international wine experts and 70 Hungarian winemakers.
