EU court ruling against PM Orbán’s “toxic populist brand”?

Change language:

A Wednesday ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union has provided a new tool to protect the community’s budget and to ensure that taxpayers’ money goes where it is intended, Johannes Hahn, EU commissioner for budget and administration, told a plenary of the European Parliament on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the CJEU ruled that the regulation accepted by the European Parliament and Council on making EU funding conditional on adhering to principles of the rule of law was built on a sound legal footing, rejecting actions brought against the regulation by Hungary and Poland.

Hahn said the European Commission was analysing the ruling and would soon start implementing the regulation.

Balázs Hidvéghi, MEP of Hungary’s ruling Fidesz, said the decision was “leading to a dead end” and insisted that it was a “historic mistake to use European cooperation to aggressively spread an ideology”. He suggested that the EU was “abusing its power to force each state into a leftist straightjacket”. He voiced regret that “a theoretically independent European court has become partner in building a federalist, centralist Europe”.

  1. This ruling, the Hungarian Government knew they where in a Losing position, from the off-set of having the matter Ruled and Judged.
The interim period waiting for this Ruling & Judgement – did not curtail the Hungarian Government through Need of BORROWING funds – in an effort to maintain its “Shrinking” economy,
This ruling & Judgement handed down by the Court of Justice of the European Union – adds additional armory to the EU – that Hungary & Poland – play by our Rules under Democracy.
If by membership oath – Hungary & Poland fight & contest the Democracy Law of Membership in the European Union – they continue to receive clear and precise Message(s) – to follow Laws or rights to funding & “other” – that are available through membership of the European Union that will cease and will NOT be afforded to – Hungary & Poland.
Democracy – Freedom of Press and a Judical System – that is NOT told by a Government – how to Judge and Rule – just (2) prevalant examples – of WHY – Hungary in particular – remains – Not in Favor – in the European Union and viewed as a Rebel with a Hidden Agenda that continues to take a position to destabilize – fragment and separate the European Union.
The “Flogging ” of a Dead Horse, that judgement from the Court of Justice – borrowing in the “interim” period – which will not be ceased by the present Government to maintain its Economy in a position that is Manageable.
Who pays for ALL this – Debt in Borrowings ???
    Citizens – through there Taxes.
We are in an increasing Inflatory pattern – nothing is getting cheaper, interest rate rises, no tourism and the “Zenith” of this Noval Virus – distant from witnessing the destructive impact it has imposed it-self on Hungary.
The property market – the BROADSHEET property profession in Budapest, Hungary – “veiled” in comment or publication from the present Government because FACTUALLY – it is in a state of Disaster.
Sellers – overwhelm Buyers – in un-healthy proportion – and in an Economic & Financial environment – that is Hungary – trending into Harder & greater Challenges it will face – going forward – the property market broadsheet factor in Budapest, Hungary – could reach a Carnage situation.

  2. Hungary should never trust the EU Court, the court decision is made before the case is submitted. The EU court is stacked with leftist sapskulls. No reasonable person should expect fairness. Russia is lending the money Hungary needs. Is there a logical reason for Hungary to be a member of the EU?

  3. I totally agree with you mariavontheresa, The EU courts are morally bankrupt. No doubt bankrolled by the Soros mafia. Hungary really should leave the EU and hopefully convince several other Eastern European nations with traditional family values to also withdraw.
