Hungarian airline already knows when the tourist season will start?

Wizz Air expects a significant recovery in the summer season and believes that the utilisation of its capacity will reach at least 80 pc of the previous year’s. The Hungarian low-cost airline added that their flights in the 2021/2022 winter season can already be booked.
According to index.hu, people who are members of the Wizz Discount Club could book from Friday while others can join from February 18. They said that their routes could change because of the coronavirus epidemic since the different countries can introduce new rules and modify existing ones. Furthermore, they are developing their flights which can also affect the issue.
Today, the company uses only 15-20 pc of its capacity because most countries have strict entry restrictions. However, Wizz Air expects a significant rise in the market in the summer season. Moreover, they believe that
their utilisation rate can be higher than 80 pc in that period.Â
The company said that it is hard to foretell what measures countries will implement to contain the spread of the virus. They would like a unified European regulation because the current situation is hard to follow since every country has different international travel regulations.Â
