Christmas Log: Modern Art Orchestra to stream a unique concert soon

Due to the pandemic, cultural life has been transferred to online space for now. Modern Art Orchestra will stream a unique concert on the 19^th of December, the first event of the band’s online appearances to come. This special occasion will devote itself to the upcoming holy days. Christmas Log is an artistic project that synthesizes music, literature and theatre.

As personal contact is limited at the time, both audience and artists are restricted to online presence. In this unusual situation it is of extreme importance to maintain physical and mental health. Whitnessing and internalizing art may contribute immensely to this effort.

The concert dates of Modern Art Orchestra must accommodate to the new circumstances as well. However, the current situation has brought not only challenges but opportunities too, for the band and its audience alike. Many concert venues had to come up with solutions regarding the pandemic situation, so did the residential venue of MAO, Budapest Music Center. According to schedule, four live stream concerts will take place until the end of January – two of them in the great hall of BMC and another two streamed from Opus Jazz Club.
